This will have a detrimental impact on future generations.

Even if your plastic water bottle says BPA-free plastic, it may still contain other harmful toxins. In your BPA-free bottle you may find there are other chemicals that can escape if the bottles have been exposed to heat or have been sitting around for a while. Though no one currently knows what the health outcomes are, do you really want to risk it?
